JAMES SONG
Social Media Director
James possesses an extensive background within the real estate industry. For the past seven years he has worked in various capacities for the Keller Williams Forward Management group, one of the top 50 brokerage groups in the nation according to the RealTrends 500 rankings and one of the top four Keller Williams Franchise groups internationally. During that time, he has assisted in executing the launch of some of the most successful Keller Williams offices in California, including the Beverly Hills, Hollywood Hills, Larchmont, and Studio City market centers. James has worn many different “hats” with the launch of each office and later formed a transaction services business in the Beverly Hills office that has grown into one of the largest TC services businesses within the KW system.
He furthered his real estate knowledge by spending a year working in the property management and development division of Forward Management, a part of Forward Development Group. The Forward Development Group is a development and investment firm that owns over 700 residential units and over 150,000 sq. ft. of retail, office, and commercial space. James was able to use his technology background to streamline the process of exchanging up-to-date information between the Forward Management staff by introducing a cloud-based system that was implemented, utilized and shared by everyone on the staff. He has also updated the branding of Forward Management by updating the logo and marketing materials including graphic design and copy.
In keeping up with the fast pace of technology, James has more recently consulted many of the top real estate agents and offices in Los Angeles, advising them on how to leverage their use of the latest technology to further their businesses. He has a proven track record of counseling real estate agents to simplify, yet expand their business with the help of social media, websites, blogs and other tools.
James graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Cognitive Science. He is currently studying to attend an MBA program to obtain a degree in real estate and entrepreneurship.
